It often gives me the impression of having a thousand years of existence. Observing his paintings attentively, one does not know if one is traveling to the present or to a very distant past, or even both at the same time. With her brushes and her abundant colors, in the end, it seems to me that she breaks with reality while denouncing it. A mixture of Senegalese, French and Guadeloupean cultures, this prolific artist is resolutely modern. The work of Annie that I have selected and which will be published in Les Temps Présents in the summer of 2022 will be accompanied by a very beautiful text by Nadine Ltaif, poet and writer of Lebanese origin and living in Quebec. I announced his participation in recent weeks. The publication project of the collection Les TempsPRESents is made possible thanks to the support of PygmaliART.https://www.pygmaliart.com
